NATIVE DEODORANT CHALLENGE: A RECAP
Hello my loves! I want to tell you about my experience with my #NativeDeoChallenge! For two weeks I’ve only been using deodorant without aluminum. Remember when I told you all that we should start using deodorants without aluminum?
Are you wondering "what's the difference between a deodorant and an antiperspirant"? Because they are not the same product.
Antiperspirants are in charge of reducing the amount of sweat we produce. To get this result, aluminum compounds (salts) are used to temporarily block the extremes of excretory ducts of the sweat glands.
Deodorants, on the other hand, do not contain aluminum salts, meaning that they have no effect against perspiration. These are in charge of eliminating or controlling the bacteria that cause the awful smell of underarm sweat. Taking all of this into account, it’s not difficult to discount the fact that clean deodorants are the most respectful for the natural needs of our skin. All of this must be considered when making your decision.

Let me tell you, the first week, my body was adapting to deodorant. To make sure that I wasn’t going to give off any foul odor, what I did was apply the deodorant twice a day. What I can tell you is that there was never a time when I felt uncomfortable, or as if I was giving off an odor. For the second week, everything felt totally normal. I’d apply the deodorant in the morning, come in and out of the gym, pick up the girls, cook, etc.; and my body smelled good the entire time.

Hola mis amores. Quiero contarles todo sobre mi experiencia con mi Challenge de Native! Llevo dos semanas solo utilizando desodorante sin aluminio. Recuerdan que les conté hace unos meses sobre porque debíamos usar desodorantes sin aluminio?
Antes de nada, lo que debemos de saber es la diferencia entre un desodorante y un antitranspirante ya que no son el mismo tipo de producto.
Los antitranspirantes se encargan de reducir la cantidad de sudor que producimos. Para conseguirlo, se usan estos compuestos de aluminio (sales) que bloquean temporalmente los extremos de los conductos excretores de las glándulas sudoríparas.
Los desodorantes, a diferencia de los antitranspirantes, no contienen sales de aluminio y por lo tanto, no tienen efecto contra la transpiración. Éstos se encargan de eliminar o controlar las bacterias que causan el mal olor del sudor. Teniendo en cuenta estos aspectos no es difícil deducir que los desodorantes son los más respetuosos para con las necesidades naturales de nuestra piel así que deberíamos tenerlo muy en cuenta a la hora de elegir.

Déjenme y les cuento, mi primera semana mi cuerpo estaba adaptándose a desodorante, lo que hize para asegurarme que no tuviera ningún olor desagradable fue aplicarlo 2 veces al día. Lo que si les puedo decir es que en ningún momento sentí un olor feo o que no me sintiera cómoda.
