CAMILAS ROOM TOUR
When I think of my girls’ bedroom I think of a feminine, modern, and fun place. That’s how Camila’s room is. Walls with simple colors, books, toys, baskets to have everything in its place, and an oil painting my husband made (which still today is one of my favorite deco pieces in the whole house). That painting is on the wall above the crib and it’s the room’s focal point.
There are days that everything is super beautiful and tidy but there are others that I let them have fun, play and be kids. You know what that means on those days, right? It’ll look like a tornado passed through there after playtime is over. But that’s why I love baskets! There, I store literally all the toys and in a matter of minutes everything is back to order.
Many things are from IKEA: the floor rug, the book stands, the curtains, some of the decorative pillows, and the play kitchen. The crib is from Babies R Us (so sad that store is no longer in business). To me, that crib is super cool with colors that are modern and minimalist. I didn’t want to spend so much on the crib because what I really looked forward to was decorating their bedroom. And so, because I can’t wait to begin, I will show you guys…
When I took pictures a couple of days ago, I tried cleaning and removing the stains on the play kitchen but was unsuccessful. Many probably would have photoshopped or cropped out the stains but if there is one thing my husband and I are very proud of, it’s always presenting ourselves as we are…being REAL!

Cuando pienso en la habitación de mis niñas pienso en un lugar femenino, moderno y divertido. Así es la habitación de Camila. Paredes con colores muy simples, libros , juguetes, canastas para tener todo en orden y una obra abstracta al óleo que hizo mi esposo que hoy por hoy es una de mis piezas favoritas en toda la casa, la ubiqué en la pared donde esta la cuna de Camila y es el punto focal de su cuarto.
Hay días que está todo súper bello y recogido y otros días que las dejo divertirse y ser niñas y jugar. Saben que significa eso? Pareciera que pasa un tornado luego de su tiempo de juego. Y por eso es que amo las canastas, allí literalmente guardo todos los juguetes y en cuestión de minutos todo esta en orden.
Muchas de las cosas son de IKEA, la alfombra de piso, los stands para los libros, las cortinas, algunos cojines decorativos y la cocina de mis chicas. La cuna es de Babies r Us ( una pena que ya la tienda no exitsta) la cuna me parece súper cool los colores son modernos y minimalistas , la verdad no quería gastar mucho en la cuna, porque lo que realmente me apasiona es decorarle la habitación a mis chicas ya con sus camas y demás. Ahhhhhh ya quiero comenzar ese proyecto. Ya la les enseñare.
Cuando tomamos las fotos días antes trate de limpiar y quitarle las manchas a la Cocinita, pero no tuve éxito. Muchos talves hubieran quitado con photoshop las manchas pero si algo mi esposo y yo estamos orgullosos es de mostrarnos como somos. Reales
