San Luis Obispo and Lexus
Last month, my husband, the girls, and I took a road trip to San Luis Obispo and it couldn’t have been more perfect! We stayed in a hotel in the central part of the city, took the girls horse riding, saw different types of farm animals, and saw some of the most impressive sunsets I’ve ever seen.
Every person that lives in California without a doubt must go to San Luis Obispo at some point in their life. It is 3 hours from Los Angeles through a splendid route.
Even though we weren’t able to visit too many places because many were not kid-friendly, we really enjoyed it very much and just couldn’t stop admiring all around us the beauty of the landscape. Below, is a list of some of the places you MUST see if you’re in San Luis Obispo.
Thank You Lexus for facilitating us with one of your vehicles for this road trip. It turned out to be “the cherry on top”, making the trip super comfortable to where we barely felt the 4-hour long drive.
1. Biddle Ranch Vineyard
This is a little paradise hidden in San Luis Obispo. It’s more than a vineyard Boutique; it’s beautiful and luxurious. Every detail was perfectly thought out. The staff is super amicable and wore a smile on their face from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Most importantly, the wine was delicious. You cannot leave without paying this place a visit.
2. Downtown San Luis Obispo
The center of the city is full of great restaurants, cafés, and many stores of all different types. This collegial city is very artistic and full of color everywhere. I recommend the restaurant Luna Red. This was one of my favorite restaurants. The food was full of flavor and super fresh. I had the best octopus I’ve had in years!
3. Pismo Beach
Pismo Beach, founded in 1946, is a city located in the county of San Luis Obispo. Imagine driving your car with the beach to one side and magnificent restaurants, museums, and stores on your other side. There, you’ll find Pismo Beach Premium Outlets, Eldwayen Ocean Park, Dinosaur Caves Park, and Monarch Butterfly Grove, among many other places.
4. Madonna Inn Trail Rides
This trail is just incredible. San Luis Obispo is relatively small and this cavalcade you just cannot miss out on. You will have the opportunity to see incredible scenery in a space with simply unique people. The horses are very well cared for and the instructors are excellent. 100% recommended.
El mes pasado mi esposo , las niñas y yo hicimos un road trip para San Luis Obispo y la verdad no pudo ser más perfecto. Nos quedamos en un hotel del centro de la ciudad, fuimos a montar caballo con las niñas , vimos animales de diferentes tipos en una granja, vimos las puestas de sol más impresionantes que he visto.
Definitivamente cada persona que vive en California deberia ir a San Luis Obispo alguna ves , a solo 3 horas de Los Angeles, con una Ruta maravillosa.
Aunque no pudimos visitar muchos lugares porque muchos no eran aptos para niños , disfrutamos mucho , yo no podía dejar de mirar a todos lados por la belleza de los paisajes. Acá les dejo una lista de lugares que si van a San Luis Obispo con toda seguridad deben visitar.

1. BIDDLE RANCH VINEYARD
Este es un paraíso escondido en San Luis Obispo, es más que un viñedo Boutique, es hermoso, lujoso, cada detalle está perfectamente pensado. El personal de este lugar es súper amable y siempre con una sonrisa en sus labios desde el momento que llegamos hasta el momento que nos fuimos. Pero lo más importante es que el vino estaba riquísimo. No puedes dejar de visitarlo.
2. Downtown San Luis Obispo
El centro de la ciudad está lleno de buenos restaurantes, cafés y muchas tiendas de diferentes tipos. Esta ciudad universitaria es bien artística y esta llena de color por todos lados. Te recomiendo comer en Luna Red, este restaurante fue de mis favoritos la comida llena de sabor y súper fresca. El mejor pulpo que me he comido en años.
3. Pismo Beach
Pismo Beach, fue fundada en 1946 , es una ciudad ubicada en el condado de San Luis Obispo. Imagínate guiando tu auto y a un lado tienes la playa y al otro lado grandiosos restaurantes , museos y tiendas. Puedes encontrar Pismo Beach Premium Outles, Eldwaylen Ocean Park, Dinosaur Caves Park, Monarch Butterfly Grove, entre muchos Otros lugares más.
4. Madonna Inn Trail Rides
Este paseo es increíble. San Luis obispo es un pequeño relativamente y esta cabalgata no te la puedes perder, tendrás la oportunidad de ver paisajes increíbles en un espacio con gente única. Los cabellos están muy bien cuidados y los instructores son excelentes. 100% recomendado.
